Chakra Stones can be used much like a Catholic Rosary bead in that each stone relates to one of the 7 chakras. 
Chakra translates to “wheel” and each chakra relates a part of the body. Each person has a chakra stone that relates to them directly. Think of your chakra stone like the totem from the movie Inception : the stone should be yours and uniquely personal to you, it should represent you and your energy. 
The seven Chakras are as follows: Root Chakra (earth), Sacral (water), Solar Plexus (fire), Heart (air), Throat (space), Third Eye (spiritual realm), and the Crown Chakra which is occurs with the balance and synthesis of all other chakras.
