Youth Violence Prevention Workshop and Art Contest May 2018

The first Violence Prevention workshop was fruitful. Students had a chance to work on a graffiti mural with Craig C Theartist and receive valuable information about how to stay safe. As students all over the country take to the nation’s capitol for #marchforourlives, My Brother’s Keeper is working to engage our youth about #violenceprevention in our schools, including conversations on #gunviolence. Join us at our next workshop!

Continuing our work on Violence Prevention, Artivism had the opportunity to design a graffiti splatter mural and flower project for the HYPE Freedom school service learning project. For this project Lesley Marie-Diaz and Schetauna Powell went to five different school around HTX to complete this community project.
